Very funny TRex   Not a big fan of bagpipes myself!

How's the precipitation situation?

Hi Jack

Just gearing myself up for a busy morning on fracture clinic.  I'll make a start and hope to be done by the time lunch rolls round.

My offering today is a novel published in the 19th century.

10 (#3 + #5 + #2) #6

First name of actor in picture one. Please lose the last letter and then change the vowel.  You need the last two letters of picture three.  Present tense for picture four and change the first letter to one near the end of the alphabet.  We're all on one line.

Finished with a little time to spare.  I'm dreaming of tuna and tomato sarnies  :-H

If life gives you lemons, add a large gin & some tonic...

Hi Pen,

My puzzle for you today is what do these pictures have in common?

Och, love 'em as most Scots do!

How's the precipitation situation?

The BONKERS (such an apt descriptor!) weather continues, especially the temps.

(not sure how to make attachments appear in a specific location, so two parts follow this)
(temperature graphs in Celsius since that what practically the entire world knows and uses)

As we all know, typically temperatures are coolest just before sunrise and peak mid-afternoon. Like this:

But we've had extended stretches of little temperature change:

The precipitation has improved:
31 October — 0.03 in / 0.76 mm
3 November — 0.07 in / 1.78 mm
4 November — 0.22 in / 5.59 mm
5 November — 1.62 in / 41.15 mm

So a decent amount of rain. Fortunately, nothing like those poor souls in the Valencia region!

Glad you've finally had some rain TRex.  Your weather really is completely crackers - those temperatures are very bonkers!

My heart goes out to those poor people in Spain.  So awful and very frightening.

After a fair bit of head scratching I'm a little baffled!  I do have an answer but I'm not convinced it's right.  I'll return to it tomorrow with a fresh pair of eyes!  I'm a little frazzled
