As I struggled through the doglegged path of today's puzzle, my mind began to boggle at the complexity of the task, and I was completely boggled by how easily Carol, Moyra and Matt found their way.

If I’d had a G&T while doing the puzzle, I might have got QUININE (and a rosette).

I missed out on the opportunity to have a LASAGNA - more fool me!
(Although, too much of that’d make me a LARDASS, so maybe that’s a blessing. Not 100% surprised that wasn’t there.)

I think ET thought I did not spend enough time on yesterday's puzzle

In a cranny lived a canary,
With a nanny who was quite contrary.
A cynic named Natty,
In a hat that was tatty,
Found the bird’s song a bit too wary.

A rainy rarity, this scene,
With a ninny who was rather keen.
In the intricacy of inanity,
They formed a trinity,
Of ratty, tatty, and serene.

A tyrant titty cat,
With a coat that was natty, not flat,
Chased the canary away,
In an array of dismay,
Leaving the cranny quite flat.
