When I edged past Rhino in yesterday's DEPLORABLY game, I thought I was going to finish at the top of the scoreboard for the first time ever in 13 years of playing.  But then my hopes were dashed.  Damn you roberts! 

Actually, it was a pretty unusual game - not one player managed to reach Maven level.

But you got the rosette - well done. It was a tricky game. My last common word was poled - duh - but at least I eventually found it. The game before - PETITIONED - my last common word was fitting - IDIOT!!
The race to get a rosette stresses me out I’ve realised. I’m better waiting till the names aren’t flashing with players playing otherwise I tend to make stupid mistakes.
