Oh I loved The Other Boleyn Girl.  Haven't seen the film tho.  I also loved The King's Fool.  I picked up The Constant Gardener at some book sale but have't got to it yet.

Interesting take on that combo, T -- I would never have called Jane bald!

Practically back to her ears! Not unlike that character in Dune (can't remember her name)...

tarts, like cookies and candy, could never be bad.

Cool site, birdy! The Washing Machine Building in Mexico City reminded me of a local landmark called the Toilet Bowl Building. It's located Outside the Beltway, but not far.

[I wish I could give proper attribution to the photo. It was posted by Hemsk on the Fairfax Underground forum in 2006.]
Inside the Beltway, Washington, DC metropolitan area

I loved the "Ideal Palace", it has just the sort of fairy-tale, other-worldishness which appeals to me.  Some of the others made me feel a little queasy, imagine coming home to some of those after a boozy night!

Fabulous Birdy....some of them were amazing..

I noticed Weymouth's Sand Hotel wasn't in there...then again it was only there until the first high tide!!

Hey - I got a warning that this topic hadn't been posted in for at least 120 days.  And it was such a useful one!

Anyway, especially for animal lovers, here's one to revive it.  This is something I would not have believed if I hadn't seen it.

When the black screen appears, click on the white arrow in the center
to start; watch to the end.
