How nice to read that the bonne homie has continued in my absence.....
I have slowly roasted on a nice gas mark 4 all day...feeling very bronzed now....and....how brave am i? i went into the water....up to my knees...  The tide was out and it was too far to walk any further...

You should feel fortunate to be so near the water! My state only has rivers, lakes and ponds...not nearly as exhilarating as oceans or seas.

North Cornwall has some beautiful beaches ... never been to T's part of the world but I'm sure it's v. nice!  I live in the land of the lakes which is also v. beautiful especially in Autumn .... sorry, Fall!  >:D

The weird thing is that we usually call the season Fall...but we say autumn leaves...hmm...there's really no consistency there for that season.

I spent a summer in Ullswater...many years ago...i stayed with friend in a house called Rigbeck....and got the Mountain Goats everywhere...
It was lovely...i've got some fab pics and happy memories...
