My husband and I play Scrabble regularly and today we achieved three record scores (we keep them for Scrabble and Yahtzee to just make it more interesting over the years).
Today I scored ZESTLESS as a triple triple seven letter word for 212 points, previous record for one word was 203 by my husband so smashed that!
Then my personal total score was 612, with two seven letter words (previous high score was 565 scored by me with 3 x 7 letter words).
Finally our combined score was 919, previous high was 901.
A red letter day indeed. If only I could get the last common word in the 10 letter game!
