THRUWAY in yesterday’s ten letter WRATHFULLY game
« on: January 04, 2023, 10:24:12 PM »
Is this an American word? In Australia it would be THROUGHWAY I imagine.
Ensuite is not allowed cause it’s restricted to Australia so why should THRUWAY be common? I know they’re probably not connected but hopefully you see where I’m coming from.
In any case, Alan I ask you to review THRUWAY as a common word. At least it’s not down under.

Not common over here either, Jacki.  Never heard the word.  Is it like a thoroughfare, I wonder?

A google search on "thruway" retrieves fewer than 200 ltems and at least half of these are about the "New York Thruway".  There is no way that this is "common".

Yes, I agree. The word will not be treated as common in future.
