I'm surprised nobody has queried the fact that libeller is classed as common while libeler is rare. Any thoughts?

I would probably use defame/defamer - I don't know the difference legally but, in general, I am not liable to use libel...  >:D >:D >:D

I suppose they should be the same, like traveller and traveler - although LIBELER looks wronger! (And gets a red underline - libeller doesn’t…) I don’t have a complaint about libeler being rare, anyway! 🤠
