New word - bilum?
« on: May 15, 2022, 03:41:28 PM »

A bilum is a ubiquitous carry-all bag from New Guinea.  Probably an uncommon word outside Oz/PNG.

I tried it in the sublime game.

This word is in the Macquarie Dictionary. I couldn't find it in any other English language dictionary. Wiktionary has it in its Tok Pisin dictionary. (Tok Pisin is a creole language widely spoken in PNG.) Searching in English language PNG newspapers, the Post Courier and the National, brings up plenty of examples.

I'll add bilum as a rare word.
