Weirdly enough, even though we're supposed to be in the depths of winter here in the UK, we've just had unseasonally mild temperatures. Reached 13°C where I live today, and New Year's Day is forecast to hit a high of 16°C in my locality ... which means I'm now scheduled to go moth trapping on New Year's Day!
The thought of 42°C during Christmas would probably have people here prolapsing in terror ...
It's very strange this unseasonal weather Calilasseia. I'm not sure where you are but here in Milton Keynes my car said 15
oc when I was driving home
I would be prolapsed in terror at the thought of 42
oc at any time of the year
My friend & I rather stupidly visited Lake Garda in July a few years ago. The temperatures were hovering around 40
oc almost every day. We visited Juliet's balcony in Verona & spent the rest of the afternoon in various shops which had aircon. Your ice cream melted before you even had a lick!
We're not much good at coping with extremely hot weather. Don't think we're designed for it
