Is there anywhere one can look to see which people are ranked the highest for each game?

Not at present, Willember. I thought it might be seen as a breach of privacy. But I could be wrong - the top ranking players might be eager to publicize their achievements!

Surely the scoreboard provides this information???

I presume Willember is thinking of the highest ranking over a period of time. E.g. most rosettes in the Challenge puzzle this year, etc.

Whilst on this topic, when I look at my personal statistics, I wonder what is the difference in the categories of Rosettes and Common Words? My statistics for each them are very different but I would have thought that they are the same thing?
If you find all the common words you get a rosette, so why would they not be close or identical?

I'd certainly be interested in seeing top 10 tables of rosette-getters for the calendar year.  Perhaps one for each of the four puzzles and one for total rosettes.

Jacki, it's probably related to the way people play. I'm ("vizal") ranked 105th for rosettes in the Standard puzzle, but I'm ranked 40th for common words in that puzzle. I play almost every puzzle, and I almost always keep playing the puzzle till I've got all the common words I can come up with, which means I often get pretty close to getting a rosette, but only occasionally succeed (50 times up to the end of September). There might be other players who play less often, but almost always get a rosette when they do play. They could find fewer common words over the year than me, because they play fewer puzzles. But they might have more rosettes, because they're better at it. (The swine!)
