Yep, I'm back now!     It was fantastic, and I definitely wish that I could have stayed longer.  Quite a bit of the trip made me appreciate what I have at home all the more...especially the bit about having plenty of good drinking water and clean air.

It is definately an eye-opener....but when all is said and done, Mexico is still considered to be a third world country....

When i was there, many years ago now, i thought the same as you, so obviously not much has changed.

Well, I can't find the cord that takes the pics off my camera and transfers them to the computer!  But I haven't really had the time to search for it yet.  I hope to find it tonight or maybe this weekend.

No, I haven't found the USB cable yet...I'm sure it will turn up soon.  It must be in one of the boxes I haven't gotten around to unpacking yet.   You're right.  It's about dinner time here.  It's 7pm.  Not real sure what you're still doing up right now, though!  My Saturday was ok.  We had freezing rain/sleet/a little snow mixed in all day...which means that I didn't make it to the store as the streets were really slick.  So I just stayed inside all day and got some chores taken care of around the house. I'm having a sort of casserole tonight.  It should be really yummy...although it wouldn't make it on your slimming recipes thread (it has lots of vegetables, though!).
