I started playing Chi 9 years ago today. I cannot remember what I did before I got addicted to this wonderful word game.
Although I don't regularly contribute to the Forum I do follow it every day, it is more interesting than the news and certainly not as depressing.
Many thanks to Alan, you help keep my brain active.
once I was young and poor but now I am no longer young.

That’s wonderful - happy anniversary Gareth. Doesn’t time fly? And amen to thanking Alan!
Keep your receipts, leave it how you found it, treat others how you would like to be treated and sometimes we just need to lower our standards to be happy.

Hear hear...

While I was typing this I wondered: is it Here, Here or Hear, Hear?

...and found this:

If you want to voice your agreement with someone during a debate (especially if you're a member of the UK Parliament), you will shout “hear, hear.” But as long as you're shouting, no one will notice you're wrong if you shout “here, here” because the words are pronounced the same.  ;D ;D ;D
The greenest watt ever produced is the one you never use.
When we come out of the Covid-19 crisis, we need to make sure recovery efforts address the Climate Crisis (which can't be solved using social distancing!)
