For those who are interested, I'm back!

My technology problems are solved, and I've been away spending Christmas with children and grandchildren.

Playing with the youngest generation left me with no time for Chi, but now I have a few days to myself.

I will probably disappear again in the second and fourth weeks of January, when I will be welcoming grandchildren to stay with me to give their parents a break during the long school holidays.

Did I miss any news about Mike?

Welcome back, blackrockrose!

I hope you enjoyed your time with the littlies. And enjoyed Christmas generally!

I don’t think there’s been any news about Mike - although I was off for a couple of days too, so might have missed something. Perhaps that’s wishful thinking …

I'm off for a few days with the family so you may or may not see me here...

Enjoy your trip, RTT - we’ll miss you in the 7BM club!

No, I'm afraid there's been no news.

EUREKA!!! If I'd only got that I'd have got a rosette...

On the road on my phone so please forgive typos.

Rosetteers were aplenty today starting with ozzyjune and continuing with doxydaisy,, dragonman, ozzymAndias and ozzyjack. Well done all.

Rosettenears consisted of yelnats, Maudland and myself - close but no cigar...

rogue_mother and Roddles were both two short on twenty seven common words discovered. Jancsika came next one further back followed by vizal on twenty-five.

I wonder what today's puzzle will bring??? Apart from the joy of the hunt...

This was from yesterday's that I forgot to post...

The greenest watt ever produced is the one you never use. Playing as jk1956 & John is my name.

So, today's now...

auntiemo led off the rosetteers today followed by the three ozzys - well done all of you for getting the needed twenty seven words. Rosettenears included doxydaisy and Maudland - so close, get so far...

dragonman, rogue_mother and blackrockrose are the sort arses today being way two short for their own good. ;) Welcome back blackrockrose, we have missed you...

Jancsika was on his lonesome at three off the pace while yelnats and I were one further back on twenty three. Then a gap to vizal on eighteen and finally Roddles on thirteen - my guess is they've been too preoccupied with celebrations to spend much time on Chi.

Apologies if I've missed anyone. Mobile phones are a challenge in themselves for someone of my advanced years... ;)

Hope you’re having fun, John!

I don’t feel too bad that I was OUTPOINTed on yesterday’s puzzle. Never heard of it. Wouldn’t have (obviously didn’t!) guessed it.

It's not difficult to outpoint a rogue when she fails to pinpoint the solution, But like Maudland I just didn't know outpoint, never would have found it. I had to look it up.

And congratulations to doxydaisy and OzzymAndias for making it to maven! Not an easy feat for this puzzle.

Thank you rogue_mother! I missed output doh! This puzzle was definitely a struggle for my feeble brain. The current one is even worse!
