You're making two basic mistakes, Dragonman. Look carefully at the chips and think about the order of operations in arithmetic, aka bodmas.

I don't remember ever learning anything about bodmas when I was learning arithmetic and equations. I do remember using lots of parentheses to keep functions separate. But hey, it isn't easy to do arithmetic using Roman numerals.
