My congratulations must go out to anyone who has actually managed to read one of her books.
I tried reading Atlas Shrugged, her 'masterpiece', many years ago and struggled to get beyond page 30. In the end I gave it up as unreadable.

I struggled to read The Virtue of Selfishness many years ago. I probably made it through 100 pages, but finally deemed it unreadable and not worth the effort.

I dated a guy (oh, so many years ago) who worshipped Ayn Rand. So, I read Atlas Shrugged. It saved me a lot of time  following a doomed relationship. What an overblown apology for compassion-free living!
