Achievement
« on: May 24, 2020, 10:22:10 AM »
Hi

I consider it an achievement, if I can find a word, and I am the only player to have found it.
Played by 1 player.

Of course, it is easy in the first few seconds of a new game.

It is a bit tougher, to only consider it an achievement after:
   *  I have found the big word ( using all letters )
   *  I have found the 'best' count of words.

It usually happens with somewhat technical words.
In my case often related to electronics or mathematics.

After the puzzle has closed I will be happy to post it.

It is up to a count of 5 now.
But it was 1, when i posted.

Most likely in a ten-letter game; there are usually one or two trophies on display in the nine-letter game scoreboards.

It could never have happened at all, of course, in the days when Alonzo Quixote and his alter ego Alfonso Coyote were getting a cup/trophy in every game they played.

Did anyone ever work out how AQ managed it?
I have a couple of theories but, not being a computer engineer, I have no idea if they are feasible.

I'd like to know too.  No good asking me I'm hopeless with technology & I don't know the difference between a gnu, a moose & an elk
If life gives you lemons, add a large gin & some tonic...

Arcsin
A trigonometric function.

By the end of the game, it was played by 9 players.
So, yes rare, but not impossible.
