Here, we are told to stay in - only essential jobs, but there are exceptions for getting out to get essentials (food and prescriptions) and walk the dog, go to the doctor and dentist (though only for serious things, not routine), etc. - the main thing is to keep a distance between yourself and anyone else. I'm lucky to have a local park just a short distance away, and even my apartment complex is good to walk in - trees and flowers make it pleasant.
But mostly, we're staying in the apartments. Deliveries are left in the outer lobby and we are called to come and get them, unless we are quarantined or ill - then the porters will leave them outside our doorways for us to pick up when they are at a safe distance.
But of course too many people don't feel that the rules are meant for them.
