rewashed played by 147 from 414 - common

Puzzled me too.
I played both words, REWASH first and REWASHED much later, just to get nearer to Maven. It was the word I needed for a rosette.
I suspect the lower hit rate for REWASHED was because players didn't spot it or players didn't think it would be common.
Upgrade REWASH I think

For the life of me I don't know why rewash is rare - it's a common thing to say "I'll rewash that shirt to get the stain out." Just as much as "I rewashed the shirt but the stain didn't lift."  It's silly.

Frequently, if I play a word like rewash and find it is rare, I won't attempt playing it with an added -ed. IMO, they definitely should have the same classification.

I'd suggest downgrading rewashed.   >:D

(Even spell check changed it to rehashed.)
