word suggestion

I don't think is a spoiler, but have left the word off the subject just in case. I've forgot to make this suggestion many times — memory like a sieve. The suggestion is cuban. It is a type of sandwich which is very popular in south Florida (where I grew up).

Capitalized, surely?

It certainly is in the Wikipedia article:

A Cuban sandwich (sometimes called a mixto, especially in Cuba.... is a popular lunch item that grew out of the once-open flow of cigar workers between Cuba and Florida (specifically Key West and the Ybor City neighborhood of Tampa) in the late 1800s and has since spread to other Cuban American communities

I've seen it with and without a capital.

I've also seen it written both with and without a capital.

I'm not persuaded to add cuban as a word. I could only find one example online of cuban sandwich with no capital letter, and that was from a traveler's comment on Trip Advisor. Also, people generally seem to use the phrase Cuban sandwich, rather than using the word Cuban by itself to name or describe a sandwich.

As a complete diversion from the topic at hand, this thread has just reminded me of a fish with a tautological taxonomic name: Cubanichthys cubensis. Which translates as "Cuban fish from Cuba". :)

As you can see here, it's quite colourful.
