We do already accept
fracking, as well as
frack.
I suspect this is nothing to do with hydraulic fracturing. The use of the word
frack and its inflections seemed to burst onto the scene in 2010, although I did spot an them in a September 2000 article in
Forbes magazine: "Snape's idea is to frack wells with sound waves at 40 to 100 hertz... Snape says he has lined up an oil company to test the fracking application of the device."
The online Oxford has other meanings for
frack:
US informal
Used to express annoyance, frustration, impatience, or surprise.
‘what the frack is going on!’
and
fracking:
US informal
Used for emphasis or to express annoyance, frustration, impatience, or surprise.
‘are you out of your fracking mind?’
In the fracturing sense,
fracked is certainly used, so I'll add it to our word list. I'll leave all these words as rare for now.
