Two questions that I'm curious about...
« on: November 28, 2018, 04:32:36 PM »
Firstly why are some players names in blue and some are black?
Secondly, why are there so many "anon" players who just play for one or two words?

Your second question: I think it may be partly because if you don't stay permanently signed in you can forgetfully start playing and only realise you're playing as anon after you've entered a few words ... or twenty on a really unobservant day. I've done it time without number; JCC did it yesterday. And then one time I noticed quite a few of the one- and low-scoring anons had the 9 letter word, so maybe that's all they're really interested in.

Re your first question, Jacki, the names in blue are registered players. You can click on any of those names and see the player's profile - when they registered and any other details they've chosen to share. The names in black are players who haven't registered, but may have given themselves a player name.
