deja vu

Did anyone else notice the similarity between yesterday's palpating Standard game and the placating Challenge game from a couple of days ago?
The two games had no fewer than 8 common letters and, what's more, the same key-letter - N.

The upshot was that by looking at the solution to the earlier game, you could have found 32 of the 35 words needed for a rosette in yesterday's game!
Only three words (tapping, lapping and the 9-letter seed-word word palpating) would then need to be found.

Nobody would do that, of course. That would have been cheating, wouldn't it?

One of the disadvantages of a failing memory, I didn't remember placating! Maybe why I get few rosettes.
