worshiped cost me a rosette a couple of weeks ago;
nonplused cost me a rosette yesterday

I'm really geting a bit pised off with some of these these weird spelings!

Found by only 6.6% of players - lower than for worshiped.  Certainly not a common spelling!

Too bad your memory didn't go back a couple of weeks while you were playing the game. I got nonplused mainly because I remembered the previous discussion about worshiped and decided to give nonplused a try. Success!

I'm not 100% convinced that worshiped should have been reclassified The Google ngram viewer shows that nonplused, however, is far, far, far less common. I agree that nonplused is a good candidate for reclassification.

Agreed, belatedly. The nonplused spelling will be classed as rare from now on. For some further discussion opf English spelling issues raised by this word see this topic from May this year.
