I'm afraid I would have to hire someone else to reprogram them, partly because I am a technological dunce, and partly because I couldn't get close enough to the bug.

Acre does come up quite often - not that I knew it was in that day's puzzle.  But even if I had been playing the game, I probably would have missed it.

But somehow termites don't scare me as much as cockroaches, even if they do considerable damage.

DNA is certainly rearranging the way we think about biological relationships.
