It's been howling a gale here for a couple of days.  Barbs and I did manage a small walk but the wind chill made it feel like about - 20o:laugh:

Hi Pen,

I don’t mean to make you jealous but the weather here is excellent.

Another great Rebus.  My humble response is to take a leaf out of your book and to use another movie which has much the same subject matter but was released in the previous decade.

Conceptionally one line.

Picture 1. Three words(5,3 6). You need the first word.
Word 1.  Make Homophone of pictures 1 and 2
Picture 4. It is the official portrait when he was vice president.

Sheila is trying to interpret a text from her grandson.  She asks Blue who was obviously deeply engrossed in a book he was reading," what does IDK, LY, & TTYL mean?" Blue stirred himself and says, "I Don't Know, Love You, & Talk To You Later." Sheila says "It's ok, don't worry about it. I'll ask Jack, love you too."

And I’ll leave you with this

Regards, Jack

Hi Jack

I wouldn't dream of exaggerating   >:D  Still very wild and windy here! Just been to the churchyard to see Ray and nearly got blown away!

I'm stumped by your rebus.  I thought the first picture was a bulldozer which doesn't help me at all.  I'm going to return to it later and seek some assistance from the fickle Ms Google.

My rebus is a much more recent film.  Not my cup of tea.
6 (#4 + #2) 9 (#2 + #7 + #2)

Please use the first three letters of the actress's first name in picture one.  Any one of picture three and lose the first letter and first two letters of the gent in picture five.  One (dodgy!) homophone and we're all on one line please.

My local church has just formed a new choir.  Anybody is welcome to join.
So far it's Dean, Don, Mary, Lee and I.

Leave you with the naffest joke I could find  ;D

 Hi Pen,

It's a particular type of Bull-dozer.  3 words.

Loved your rebus.  very tricky homophone.

I am awake because we are in the middle of a thunderstorm.  You would be in the cupboard under the stairs.

Actually, as I type it seems to have passed over.

Goodnight.
Regards, Jack

Hi Again Jack

Thanks  :)  I was a bit stumped on how best to do it.

I solved your clever rebus with a bit of assistance from she who must not be mentioned

I would have definitely been in the cupboard under the stairs - shaking like a leaf!

Is it too early to say Good Morning?  or possibly Good Afternoon by the time you see this!

I seem to be a bit late on parade today!

Thanks to everyone for their kind words  :)

Here's a very simple, easy peasy puzzle.

#5 9 (#6 + #3) #2 #3 #3 #3

Please change the second letter of picture one.  First name of gent in picture two and make a homophone.  Please lose the last letter of picture three and the first and last of picture five and the first letters of both pictures six and seven.  One more homophone and it's all on one line.

Die Hard is one of the best Christmas films...

Don't know if you're tuning in Linda but I hope you're enjoying Christmas with your lovely new kitchen and you've worked out how to use all the appliances   >:D

Merry Christmas, Pen and Merry Christmas to all Chi members!

Turkey is roasting, so oven must be working!  Did most of the prep work yesterday so am feeling fairly relaxed this morning.  Still not quite got to grips with the all singing, all dancing microwave but it can't be rocket science, surely!

Have a wonderful day!  >:D
