Hi Pen,

I will continue my master class in Australian Country music.  Blue tells me the singer of this song is True Blue. :D

Positioning is deliberate. One Homophone. Definite article not pictured
Picture 1.  Your homophone is a present participle although  the word associated with this man could also be an adjective.
Picture 2.  Your are looking for the noun.

Hi Jack

It's perishing cold and very windy here.  I popped up to see Barbs and we did go for a walk but we didn't get far.  A lot of the paths on our normal route had been flooded so we had to keep diverting!

Like John, you have me stumped with your rebus.

I was thinking about Blue and was wondering if he...

The first two pictures are homophones.  Please change the first letter of picture three and the last letter of picture four (past tense). You need to re=arrange the middle letter of picture five and change the second letter of the last picture.  & please pretend it's all on one line. Clear as mud? >:D

I recently asked the Vicar, a keen gardener, if he knew of a way to prevent my salad leaves being eaten by slugs and other pests.
He thought for a moment and then said "Lettuce spray"

If life gives you lemons, add a large gin & some tonic...

I have solved your rebus, Pen, if I have made two correct assumptions. For pictures 5 you meant "letters".  Your picture 4 was very dark on my computer and it is difficult to make out the detail.  From the rest of the expression, I would assume the Carea Leonés is hiding.
If I am right, the expression quite often ends with the word "on" added.

A great rebus and very tricky.

Can you relate to any of these?

The older you get the earlier it gets late.
I run like the winded.
I had my patience tested, I'm negative.
When I say I'm doing nothing it doesn't mean I'm free..it means I'm doing nothing.
When I say ''the other day'' it could be between yesterday and 20 years ago.
To me ''drink responsibly'' means don't spill it.
If I say ''correct me if I'm wrong'' don't you dare.
When someone asks me what I did over the weekend I as ask ''why, what did you hear?''
You are UNIQUE....just like everyone else

Hi Jack

Greetings from a wet and windy Bletchley.  Zoe and I are waiting for it to fine up so we can get out for our constitutional :)

I enjoyed the song from your previous rebus - which I solved with the help of your additional clue :)

You are, of course, spot on with my last rebus.  It should have been "letters" plural :-R  You do have the answer but I'm not sure I'd an "on" at the end but as we've found our before these saying do vary slightly sometimes.

Following on a theme I also wondered if Blue

#5 #2 #4 #3 #4 3 #(3 + 2)

AND

Please lose the first letter of the third picture and change the last letter of the picture four and the first letter of picture five.  The last picture should cover the last two words.  Please pretend it's all on one line.

I accidentally paid for my shopping in the supermarket this morning with my library card..
My loaf of bread is due back next Friday.

We're going to brave it before it rains again! Might need to get the rowing boat out
