Hi Pen,

I hope you have the best day ever, even if it is a monday, and you are looking forward to a year of excitement and friendship.

I hope you have a very special bottle of pink muck to celebrate with tonight.

Enjoy it to the full.

Jackx and June

Have a wonderful Birthday.

Don't think of it as getting older, think of it as a bit closer to your goal of retirement.

Best Wishes

Gareth

Wishing you a very happy birthday, Pen!!  Hope you've got an especially good sarnie for lunch and plenty of lovely pink wine for tonight.  About the same age as me, I suspect, though I may be doing you a disservice!!  >:D

Thanks Linda.  I'm 66 years young today - problem is I'm still about 29 in my head!  As my twin I doubt you'll be very far away >:D
I'm going to the Nut & Squirrel with Barbs for lunch :)  I'll probably have a prawn sarnie with rather yummy chips :-H
I have a very good bottle of pink chilling in the fridge for ron
I do hope you're fully mended & nearly back to normal ( >:D) Penx

6 months younger than me then, Pen!!  Hope you have a wonderful day.

I am getting stronger I think but still not exactly leaping about!  Having physio with a very nice young Irishman!!  Hubby has to help me put my socks on and I walk up the stairs like a 100 year old but can spring down the stairs quite nimbly.  Progress is slow I think but apparently not according to physio and surgeon who sliced me open and left a beautiful scar down my thigh!!  They seem to think I am being impatient. What, moi?!!

Will raise a glass to you this evening!  >:D

Hi Jack

Thanks to June & yourself and, Carol, John & Gareth, for my brilliant birthday wishes :)

As you will see in my message to Linda my pink muck is already chilling nicely in the fridge ;)

I nearly missed your earlier post! It really tickled me & I loved the rebus - very clever :)  Pleased you missed the heavy rain. We had torrential rain yesterday all morning & just as I got my steak & chips out yesterday tea time we had a massive thunder storm :(  Unfortunately there's not enough room in the cupboard under the stairs for me to eat so I just had to get on with it. It's weird old weather here - not at all cold.

I'm going to pick Barbs up in a little while  :-C

Thanks Linda :) I'm just off to pick my friend Barbs up in a few minutes.  I thought we must be of a very similar vintage

You an impatient patient?  Perish the thought >:D

Hi Jack

I'm enjoying a fairly lazy day today after a copious amount of the pink muck last night >:D  I hope you're still avoiding the rain.  It's a nice day here so far & I had a lovely walk round Furzton Lake this morning :)

My easy peasy rebus today is an opera.  I had a feeling I may have used it before but I've had a search & couldn't find anything so fingers crossed.

Hi Pen,

The Coorparoo mob are now officially the Cleveland mob, although they will still be living with us until the weekend.  They are repainting some of the rooms in the new house and moving their furniture in on Saturday.

Blue reckons there is nothing clever about being successful at fishing.  He claims it is 10% brains, 95% muscle, and the rest is just good luck.

Blue: I’d like to have enough money to buy an elephant.
Jack:  Why would you like to have an elephant.
Blue:  I wouldn’t, but I’d like to have the money.

Seeing as you like easy peasy rebuses, and seeing you have a new PM, I thought I would remember an earlier one. (thanks for the inspiration, Moyra)
