What is the minimum age to get this?
I don't know, but it could be quite low.
I don't know if it is so in USA but in UK and Oz a lot of series made in the 60s - 80s continue to be recycled again and again.
There are some that I enjoyed watching when they first came out that makes my skin crawl that I ever thought they were worth watching, for example
McHale's Navy. There are others that are timeless and I still enjoy watching even if I don't out of my way looking for them. Hogan's Heroes, 'Allo 'Allo, MASH, Dad's Army, etc are ones that come immediately to mind.
But who knows if this is nostalgia or whether they would have the same appeal to a younger audience?
I would caution against criticising
Morse, Foyle's War, or Midsomer Murders on this thread. Apart from being in my list of series that age well, they have some fierce defenders in this thread.
I am careful not to criticise
Only Fools and Horses which I don't rate highly because it also has a strong following.
It would be interesting to hear other views.
