Hi Linda

Loved the book puzzles. I've worked out six of them, with four still to go.

Hi Pen,

Blue will not allow people to cough near him! If they are going to cough, they must cough FAR away. If he sees or hears someone coughing CLOSE to him, he tells them to FAR cough!

Blue is convinced the service station down the road are producing their fuel from insect urine.  Otherwise, he argues they wouldn’t call themselves BP.

My rebus (yes, I still remember how to do them  :D) is a 2001 movie starring one of my favourite actresses.

The second picture came to me from one of your frequent expressions, Pen

It's very cold here today so Leek & potato soup sounds perfect.
Look forward to your next quiz  :)

Hi Again Jack

I came unstuck on the same ones as you & I also missed one of the authors.  I don't know who the lady is in the third picture from the end although her face is vaguely familiar!  Despite that I very much enjoyed it :)

Going for a rummage in the fridge in a few minutes to see what I can find!

Hi Pen,

Blue had an idea for a chain of Elvis steak houses.  It would be for people who love meat tender.

Sheila told Blue that moose were falling from the sky. Blue replied, “it’s reindeer”.

My rebus is a fantasy film from about 5 years ago based on the novel of the same name published about 10 years ago.

Conceptually one line.

Picture 5.  You are not interested in its name or where it is but the fact that it is a class of church exempt from the jurisdiction of the diocese in which it lies, and subject to the direct jurisdiction of the monarch or an archbishop.

I'm Back Jack

I've had a bash at the crossword but failing miserably without the brains of the operation

My rebus is something I came across by accident while looking at the BBC sport on the net. It's happening as we speak!

You could substitute picture one with this...

or a picture of yourself ;)
Please run the second & third pictures into one another.

My neighbour told me "When one door closes, another one opens"
A lovely chap, but a terrible cabinet maker!

It's been so windy here just lately my wheelie bin has had to go on a speed awareness course!

How do leg-spin bowlers find information on line?
They googly it!

Leave you with a few silly jokes ;D

Ok Jack, do your stuff!  Good luck - some of the clues might be a bit UK biased for some!  There is no space on this one to put in your answers and I can't be bothered to alter it so do your best.

Hi Pen and Linda.

I just woke up and found your posts.  It will be mid-morning (past your midnight) at the earliest before I can give.them my full attention.

Linda, I will send you a message then to let me know the answers I can’t get, which at the moment in my half sleepy state is most of them.
Regards, Jack
