I tried to find something about big is beautiful but I bombed out and so I am going to seek solace with a Sauv Blanc.

Howdy Jack

Work for me today :(

I loved your cartoons   You're right there isn't much to be had about big is beautiful!  This was all I could find

I love this!  Will you take that instead?

Lee Trevino used to say you had to wave one-iron above your head because even God could not hit a one-iron.
Never heard that before

I couldn't find any sauv blanc cartoons but these might make you smile :)

I've probably posted this before but it still makes me chuckle ;D
There is a guy who is playing golf with a priest. While they are on the 10th green the guy misses a three-foot putt and says, “God dammit, I missed.”
The priest tells him not to use vulgar language on the golf course. Then on the next hole the guy misses a two-foot putt and says again, “God dammit, I missed.”
The priest tells him that if he continues to use vulgar language on the golf course, he will have God strike him down with lightning and kill him.
Then on the next hole he misses a one-foot putt and says, “God dammit, I missed.”
All of a sudden a tremendous bolt of lightning comes down and kills the priest! Immediately after, a voice comes out of the clouds and says, “Dammit, I missed!"

Soon be lunchtime :-H  Home at 3ish

You could always replace the tea in your thermos with a bit of " pink muck "

A great idea Les but there are a couple of snags!  I don't have a thermos - I just make my tea in a mug & I'm not sure I should be tipsy in charge of a reception desk

Hi, Pen.

We're still in suspenders too. ;D

We got out to Taaffeite about 2.00 pm and played with the pups for about an hour. It is amazing how they have come on in three weeks.  They are very playful now.  The breeder is taking them for their check-up with the vet tomorrow and then will contact us about who will be offered which pup.

It was after dark when we got home and so I barbecued a quick steak and we washed it down with a bottle of Shiraz and I was as totally pooped as the pups (see below).

I closed my eyes for an instant and just woke up.  Given your plea, I thought I should get up and quickly bring you up to date with what was posted on Facebook.

Totally pooped puppies after our puppy party today!
Thank you to all that attended, especially @kw_imagery and Aunty Steph for taking photos (plenty more to come).
Tomorrow we go to get their health checks and finally announce where these babies will be heading at 9 weeks

I'm off back to bed to finish my beauty sleep. :-Z

Oh Jack that is the most adorable picture.  Love it :-*  One of the best ones yet.  I'll sit on my impatience for another day

What with working yesterday I don't feel like I've had much of a weekend :(  On the plus side I'm taking Thursday off so I've only got to do a thee day week :)

Going to hunt for a few words & slump in my chair in front of the box!
I have a small drop of pink left  - pity it's not a big drop

Hi Pen,

We found out a little while ago which pup is coming our way.

I am afraid it is set in concrete that her name will be "Bonnie"

The Coorparoo mob are getting

We are picking Bonnie up on 7 September.  There are many preparations to make for her arrival.

But now I am off to have a celebratory glass of wine.

Regards, Jack

Hi Jack & June

Congratulations & brilliant news.  A huge welcome to Bonnie!  I hope the Coorparoo mob are going to call her brother Clyde >:D

Oh Jack, wonderful news!  And what a Bonnie wee lassie she is too.  Dammit, just finished our vino over dinner.  But, wait, there's a bottle of Lagavulin in the pantry.  Definitely worth a wee dram to celebrate.  Here's lookin' up yer kilt!

My Dear Friends,

Thank you for your responses and good wishes.  We were touched.  Some rationale for the selection is evident in the Facebook posts by the Breeder.

Quote

Selections have been made!
Archer (new name pending) will be moving to Coorparoo with Cathy, Rob, Benji and James 🐾💙
He’s looking forward to a life of being loved and spoilt by his wonderful new family

Beautiful Lana will be moving to Redland Bay with June and John 💕🐾 She’ll get to see her brother Archer regularly as they are going to the same family! (Different households).

I’ll miss them all but as some of you know, I really bonded with this girl and she tried really hard to stay!

Handsome Gus (formally Bond) will be moving to Varsity Lakes with Grant and Anabelle 🐾💙
He’s going to enjoy a life of walks, adventures and hanging out with his new paw rents 🥰
He also has his own Instagram TBA

Last but definitely not least
Our precious Kimmy. Small but mighty! At birth we were concerned she may not make it because of her very small size. Now she is the leader of the pack! Congratulations to Silke and Aaron on adding this beautiful girl to your family. 💕

Kimmy was your favourite, Pen.  I would have called her "Everready" after the inexhaustible batteries.  When the other three had flaked she was still running around looking for mischief.  I think she would have been too much for June and me to handle.  The family joked about naming Archer "Clyde" but I suspect he will end up with a much more dignified name.
