Afterwards, we drove to Caldecotte Lake & had a lovely walk in the sun.

Hi Pen,

I'll bet you took a ride on the miniature railway.

It's suddenly very quiet here. The ex-Coorparoo mob are spending the last week of the school holidays down on the Gold Coast.  When they get back, they will be with us for a bit over a month before they move into their new residence in Cleveland.  I suppose I will have to start calling them the Cleveland mob.

You should keep your powder dry and not go doing this.

Conceptionally one line.
Picture 1. Present participle.
Picture 2.  Ditch first letter
Picture 4.  Take your pick.  Father or daughter will give you the same answer.

Another idiom

Homophones abound; image 1 insert an apostrophe somewhere; image 5 imagine she’s English; two definite articles not pictured; notionally all on one line

Hi Jack

We didn't take a ride on the miniature railway.  We walked around the far side of the lake away from the pub.  I'm not sure it runs all the time.

Zoe & I have had a lovely day.  We did a bit of shopping, had some lunch & then went for a walk.  It was lovely & sunny earlier but it's gone now :(

My rebus is one of Zoe's favourite films starring one of her favourite actors :)  It was released about 15 years ago.

I know my sums don't add up!  What is the gent in picture two wearing?  Please run the first two pictures into one another &
use the middle two letters of picture three. You need the famous hit record by the gent in picture four.  (or how is he looking?)  Middle word of last picture. Please pretend it's all on one line.

The kettle's calling me ;D

Hi Jack

I'm a bit grumpy & fed up today - not looking forward to the alarm going off before 6am :(

I've got a nice easy puzzle for you today.  It's a film I watched when I was at school so that gives you a rough idea of how old it is >:D

Please use the first three letters of the actor's first name & then change the first letter.  Please lose the last letter of second picture.  Forgot to say it's all on one line.

That's all from me...

Hi Pen,

It doesn’t sound like you are looking forward with eagerness to get back to work.

Redland council has announced a policy to combat public urination and defecation.  They claim it is their #1 and #2 priorities.

Sheila has just made a batch of synonym buns.  Blue reckons they are just like the one's grammar used to make.

It’s Been a hard day’s walk

Hi Jack

It's been a very busy day but it's less than an hour & I can go home for a welcome cuppa :)  Tomorrow will be much easier I'm sure!

That's a great picture - they all look a bit knacked

Where do they send naughty rainbows?
Prism...
but they only get a light sentence!

Thanks Radiographer Mike :)

Having a bit easier day today :)

My little puzzle is an expression that I use occasionally.

Hi Pen,

Blue has submitted some new definitions for the Aussie slang dictionary

Billabonk:          to make passionate love beside a waterhole.
Bludgie:             a partner who doesn't work, but is kept as a pet.
Dodgeridoo:      a fake indigenous artefact.
Fair drinkum:     good-quality Aussie wine.
Flatypus:           a cat that has been run over by a vehicle.
Yabble:             the unintelligible language of Australian freshwater crustaceans
Bushwanker:     a pretentious drongo, who reckons he's above average.

I realise I have been a bit slack on rebuses lately, so here is a makeup of 3 rebuses that are easy to set up but hopefully will make you think.

#5  1  #4  5   #3

Position; homophones; indefinite article not pictured

Picture 1.  Any one.

#6  #7

Picture 1.  Not who she is; what she is.

#5 2 3 3 3 3  #6

Position; definite article not pictured.

Regards, Jack
