Hi Tony,

I've checked it out on Windows 11 using firefox, edge and Chrome and on the Ipad with safari and there is no problem.

What operating system and browser are you using?

In the meantime, the picture is of a roman general? as you would see in a museum - head, part of the chest, no arms.

Tony,
you could substitute this
The greenest watt ever produced is the one you never use. Playing as jk1956 & John is my name.
When we come out of the Covid-19 crisis, we need to make sure recovery efforts address the Climate Crisis (which can't be solved using social distancing!)

Hello Jack,
Using an iPad with Safari.
I’ll use the picture John supplied.

Thank you both,

I was going to move on to our usual posts but my daughter alerted me to a Facebook post that I thought was worth including as a final tribute.

Hi Jack

Thank you for a wonderful post  :-* The story of David Nott moved me to tears & then half a minute later Blue made me laugh out loud.
& a great rebus to boot :)  What more can I ask for? (apart from a hot date with George Clooney >:D)

I'll see your explorer & offer you another one! I think you'll find it a bit easy peasy.

Please use the first half of the first name of the actress in picture four.  I've split it so the first name is the top & surname underneath.

I accidentally drank a bottle of invisible ink last night...
I've been in A&E all morning waiting to be seen!

One of my neighbours, Chris, was moaning at me earlier.  He said it's been years since his wife, Cheryl, wanted to have sex but all morning she's been pestering him.  "Why don't we go upstairs later?", "I've got something for you in the bedroom" & "I'm going to make you sweat tonight"
Chris said he has a horrible suspicion that Cheryl's had a new self-assembly Ikea wardrobe delivered!

Leave you with a couple of exceedingly naff jokes ;D

I'm quite happy though as it's my last day & then I have two whole weeks off :-)  I'm having a couple of weeks in Bletchley on Sea >:D
Hi Pen,

That might be Bletchley on Sea if you see 60-odd miles.

Blue’s mate lost the fingers on his right hand in a freak accident.  He asked Blue if he thought he would still be able to write with it.  Blue said, “Maybe, but I wouldn’t count on it”.

My idiom today is a tactic that some consider unfair.  I hope it will be a little harder than yesterday’s rebus.

Position is important but it could have been presented on one line.

Indefinite article not pictured.
Picture 3.  Take the first three letters of the picture. Change the first letter and make a homophone.

Tony, it has got me beat.  If we have a number of people with the problem we might be able to isolate the cause.

Anybody got any ideas?

Jack, this is the only time I can recall where a picture has not appeared, so perhaps we should just ignore it?

Hi Jack

I'm very much enjoying being a lady of leisure :)  Sadly I think we're just about as far from the sea as you can get in the UK :(

Your rebus has me stumped for the moment - definitely harder than yesterday!  I've been wrestling with it for about half an hour & I'm waving the white flat for the moment while I do my post

My rebus is a film from the 1980's. I think mine's the opposite - far too easy!

Please add an extra letter into the first picture. You need the character in the middle of the third picture.

Have to love you & leave you as I need to pop out.  I'll be back for another tussle with your rebus a bit later :)

If life gives you lemons, add a large gin & some tonic...

Hi Pen,

In case you still need a clue to my rebus, the third picture could have been pictured as a  WYSIWYG 5 letters.

Today my idiom is something you should practice with elderly patients.

Discard any adjectives.
Picture 2.  Lose a letter.
