Hi Jack

A busy day again so I'm going to start my post & do it in fits & starts!

My rebus is a children's book from the 1960's.

Hi Pen,
I woke up this morning to find two very intriguing rebuses.  Here’s something to go on with while I have a coffee, walk Bonnie, and try to unscramble my brain.

I asked Blue, "Do you want your Pizza cut it into four or eight pieces?". Blue replied. "four please - I couldn't eat eight”

Regards, Jack

Spoiler Alert(s)

Well, the coffee didn’t help but the resident intelligent one did and so I think we got there with answers to two very clever rebuses.

Meanwhile, a brown dog is impatiently waiting.

OK, here's another one to ponder...

This one is a gift…

The greenest watt ever produced is the one you never use. Playing as jk1956 & John is my name.
When we come out of the Covid-19 crisis, we need to make sure recovery efforts address the Climate Crisis (which can't be solved using social distancing!)

Jack's just alerted me to a problem with the final image - it's OK on my PC but I'll replace the final image...

G'day Jack

A very cold & frosty morning brrr!  I armed myself with my new spray de-icer.  Unfortunately I thawed out the windscreen only for it to furr up on the inside.  Being of a somewhat impatient nature I grabbed a handy mask & wiped the inside only to end up with a splotchy smeary mess.  I probably looked a bit like Mr Magoo as I was driving along peering through the gaps.

It's very handy having a resident intelligent one :)  Unfortunately mine's only resident one day a week
I'm going to have a bash at a film from about 10 years ago.  Not sure how it'll work out - but I think you'll find it quite easy!

Hi Jack

I'm very glad it's Friday tomorrow - looking forward to my long weekend :)

My puzzle this morning is an expression which has been around for donkeys years.

The first picture is a sort of homophone.  Please change the first letter of the second picture & use half the bear's name.  You need the nickname of the character on the left in the last picture.
Sorry it seemed like a good idea when I started

Operator: "999 what's your emergency?"
Passer-by: "A bloke just got hit by a car. He needs an ambulance."
Operator: "What's your location?"
Passer-by: "I'm on Eucalyptus Street."
Operator: "Spell that for me please?"
Passer-by: "Hang on. I'll drag him to Elm Street and I'll call you back!"

Nearly lunchtime :-H  Tuna & tomato sarnies for me.  Know how to live life on the edge

Hi Pen,

It was even better having two of them on tap.

Blue takes his baby nephew into a clinic to get it checked.  The nurse asks blue to hold the baby and to step onto a set of scales.

What for?”, asks Blue.

To see how much the baby weighs”, says the nurse, “First we take the weight of the father and the baby together, then we weigh the father by himself.  We can then subtract one from the other to see how much the baby weighs”.

“That’s not going to work”, says Blue, “I’m not the kid’s father, I’m his Uncle”.

I’ll leave you with something for pup and cat lovers.

Regards, Jack
