Forum looking funny?
« on: September 20, 2017, 12:31:27 PM »
Has anybody experienced a change in the appearance of the Forum, with a lot of the graphics missing? Something like this -

Yes, for a day or two now.

Also, the font seems to have changed (to Times New Roman(?)).
Most of the formatting options (bold, italic etc) are unavailable.
The emojis are back - I don't think they were here yesterday.

Yes, funny spaces too.

This is what it looks like when I read on my iPad and when I reply. I can see emojis but there's no way of knowing which button to use to attach photos!

It's been like this since the migration....

Due to just being too busy , over the last few weeks ,  i have not been able to spend as much time playing chi  as i would normally like to.
So when i finally found myself with a couple of days off work & time to spare .  i logged in & began playing  ,totally unaware of Alan's maintenance program.
I played ok , but was dismayed by the number of words that i would normally get but i was now missing , simply due to that lack of consistency of play.
The point being that those of you who have the luxury of playing every game , every day & spending as much time as you need on any game really do have the advantage , not that i'm bitching , just a bit a jealous that i can't do the same.
Before i had a chance to catch up on all the forum posts that i had missed , i  had noticed a few weird things were happening on the site.
By this this time , i just put it down to having my " beer goggles " on.
As usual , once the " goggles " came off everything was OK...so just letting you know Alan , that i am not experiencing any problems with the site.

I had been tempted to post a little something about F. Schubert, but was put off by the massive change in the interface.  I assumed you had been attacked by a virus.

All appears to be good.
Carpe digitus.

So, like Schubert's symphony, the message was unfinished.
