« on: June 28, 2007, 09:14:10 AM »
VIRAL..
have you noticed all the tooing and froing us forumiters do during the day???
Or maybe we are toing and froing?
But whichever we are doing..we sure are doing a lot of it...
So can we have 'toing' or 'tooing'..whichever it is??
If not i will be froing lots of heavy things in your direction...

It seemed perfectly clear to me, Dean: T wants the word toing, or possibly tooing, to be allowed in the Chihuahua puzzle.

[What's happening to my mind?? I can follow Technomc's stream of consciousness rambling without effort! Is it catching?]

Well, T, I'm not convinced about toing, because it never seems to be used apart from the expression toing and froing. So, it doesn't seem to be a word in its own right.

Just because a word is seldom seen except alongside another word, does that actually mean it not a word in its own right?

Not an easy call to make: it certainly had me umming and ahhing...

Why does this thread remind me of an old Tooheys advert, even though I'm not Australian?

I'm in occasional contact - actually, I've visited technomc, and threeb and I had lunch together in New York once -  and I do believe they are doing well!  The kids have escaped from technomc's garden shed and are quite busy young ladies.

Thanks for the update, Birdy. I'm glad to hear they're both OK - when someone disappears from a site like this there's no way of knowing what's happened to them. I guess both ladies just lost interest in playing Chi, or didn't have the time to do so.
