How about pheromonic (of or pertaining to pheromones).

I see this in some online dictionaries, but that is not always a good source of information.

This would certainly not be a common word, but it might be worth a mention just because it's so infrequently I come up with an alternate 10-letter word.

I tried it as well. According to the COD, the adjective is pheromonal

I think I tried it too, on the off chance. But it is in very few dictionaries. In fact the only one I found it in was Wiktionary, which provides a single citation, from a letter to the New York Times in 2008. One can find other usage examples, including in Star Trek, where there was a pheromonic sensor, but the word is used quite a bit less often than pheromonal, which is itself quite a rare word.

Overall, I feel its status in the language is too marginal. It just doesn't smell right.
