The indexes are the ones used when you search for a word or phrase on Yahoo, Google, MSN, etc. They're not singling us out - they index every Web page they can reach. And nobody at the search engine companies has given a moment's thought to whether there's any value in indexing our forum: the whole process is completely automatic.
And, after they've gone through every topic and indexed every word in the forum, they come back and do it all over again, to pick up things that have changed. But I can't explain why specifically there is such a large, and growing, number of Yahoo spiders crawling all over the forum.
But it's not all bad, T. Have you noticed there are no flies around?
