A new inconsistency?
« on: March 14, 2016, 12:22:50 PM »
In the SUPERSTAR puzzle, pure, purer, and purest were all common; sure, surer, and surest were all common; but spare and sparest were common whilst sparer was uncommon.  ???

I can't think of any reason for this inconsistency to continue. Although neither sparer or sparest are words that are used a lot, I think they are better being common than rare, as most players would be aware that spare can be used as an adjective, as well as a noun and a verb, and that therefore sparer and sparest are valid words.

So i will make sparer a common word.
