A new record?
« on: January 30, 2016, 11:09:33 AM »
139 people got rosettes in yesterday's standard puzzle (SWEETENED).  I think that may be a new record.  From memory, the previous record was somewhere in the low 130s.

As far as I can see the last occasion we discussed a very large number of rosettes was August 2013, when there were 135 rosettes. That was also an -ED puzzle, CONVERGED.

I also seem to remember skedaddle a couple of years ago having a very high 'rosette rate' - well over 100 I think- but I can't remember the exact total.
