Most definitely not. There is to be a new episode - the first for five years - in July this year.

Not quite sure where 'meep' comes from. The titles of several of the episodes: - 'To Beep or not to Beep', 'Little Bo Beep'  for example - would seem to suggest the more traditional spelling of the sound.
