Quite a few dictionaries don't recognize
minuet as a verb, but in COD we trust. It's also in the online Oxford and in
Wiktionary, which provides three supporting quotations. I'll add
minueted and
minueting as rare words.
Tendu is in quite a lot of dictionaries, so I'm a bit surprised it wasn't in our original word list. But when I looked for usage examples, I found a lot of them were about "tendu leaves". It turns out that, in addition to its ballet meaning,
tendu, sometimes written with a capital
T, is the name of a tree found in many parts of India. The tendu leaves are used as the wrappers in the little cigarettes known as bidis, or beedis. The word will be allowed in future, as a rare word.
