I have my reasons! The explanation is too long, and it's really because I made a stupid mistake.

Okay.

Whilst I awaited your posts and/or progress, I had been looking up the older puzzle to see what dumb words I had missed, I got captivated, distracted, and later, went off to read my e-mail.

I came back to the Chi, saw that on that previous day you had gotten the crown. In my befuddled state, I became elated at having seen your trophy from before, and mistaking it for today's game, was bestowing you with more laurels.

Thence, the comment about what kind of coffee (meaning, magic potion) were you imbibing, since it seemed to have given you greater powers.

There! Hope that makes some sense.

Like I said, I'm just going a bit koo-koo! But then again, I'm used to it.
"Some-timers" could also be a contributing factor.

Whew!

Now that I've totally humiliated my self, that's just the plain and ugly truth.

Please don't hate me for being so dumb!

 Hey.....stop beating yourself up, Threeb! I get totally lost in these forums at times, and I also get totally confused with who's won what and when. Sleep deprivation is probable the answer, as you say. If you're dumb, I'm Gwyneth Paltrow!
