suggested word: intel

I am not referring to the name of the large corporation.  I am referring to the abbreviation for intelligence, as in army intel or business intel.

Carpe digitus.
(Roughly translated, this is possibly the world's oldest "pull my finger" joke)

As usual, your suggestion is valid. Apart from the definitions you linked to, I also found in the Oxford Dictionary:

→ noun
[mass noun] [often as modifier] (Military, informal) military intelligence; information.
- ORIGIN 1980s: abbreviation.

I'll add "intel" next time I update the word list.
