puzzle suggestion
« on: January 27, 2012, 03:29:21 AM »
It would be nice, I think, to add to the 'Your targets are:' the number of common words to be found. I can get a rough idea from the Good, Better, and Best, but knowing before I start would be nice. Just an idea.

Useful perhaps if you log on just as the game is starting, and there are few names on the scoreboard. It doesn't normally take long, though, for somebody to get a rosette and then a glance at the scoreboard shows you what the 'common word target' is. (Less than four minutes for today's standard.). I really don't know how people can type as quickly as that, and think of the words at the same time. Of course, as soon as you've played your first word, you know what the 'rosette target' is. That's all I'm interested in - there's no way I will ever be able to get a cup for 'all possible words'.

I'll change the target display in the next release to show both the total number of words and the number of common words.

This change has been implemented now. The last line of the target information gives the total number of words and the number of common words.

As for finding them all, you're on your own, TRex ....
