Can somebody please tell me what 'rebop' is? It was a common word in 27 November's 10-letter game ('deplorably'), but I'm struggling to find it in my dictionaries. The Free Dictionary refers me to Wikipedia which suggests it was an alternative to 'bebop', used in UK until the 1970s. Now, I'm a jazz fan (Duke Ellington is playing in the background at the moment), but I'm afraid I don't know this word. A suitable case for downgrading, maybe (?)
