Hi Viz
It is odd..and i'm not sure why, but folk here do call people an arse if they have done something stupid or nasty, it is fairly common;
i.e.
That VIRAL, what an arse he was pulling T up over such an occasional mishap.

..ergo it follows that if folk are doing something stupid they are arsing around.

Maybe they are being lazy and not using the other common, if not longer, version of the same thing and calling them an arsehole..
Whatever..it is not very nice...
How are you Viz? You have been very quiet of late!

i don't disagree at all re arse and arsing - certainly a common & regular usage in oz as in "stop arsing around you lot" or even "stop fart arsing around" (although that means dilly dallying really, but similiar derivation)

I've been fine thanks - playing a bit, posting a bit, gnashing my teeth a lot etc

That's the joy of having the ones that you can pop into a jar...[not that i have..]
you can watch them gnashing away while you are doing something else...
Glad you are ok..

Thanks, my friends, for all those wonderful usages of the word.

I'm sure it was just as delightful/delicious/delovely for you to post all the variances and applications of a**, ar**, and ars*** as it was for me to read them FIRST THING IN THE MORNING.

Of course,   I only discussed it because the word legitimately befuzzled me, not just because I wanted to see anyone do/say anything really silly, stupid or a**inine!  ;)

Well threeb,
Number 1 -we had to get to the bottom of the issue, we can't have people talking crap all day,
the cheeky monkies will try anything once.
Number 2's - It's a piss poor show if we talk poop all day...

Well, I just posted an extremely clever retort, and by golly, after I "sent" it, it just disappeared! That's been the story of this past week. >:( >:( >:(

Why does everyone and their brother have the rosette for today's challenge except me?!  I still have two words to go...

All I can tell you is that one word is pretty much Brit/Aussie slang ... but the rest, for once, are not really very rare. Try the shuffle button. Keep at it - you've got more than an hour.

Thanks for the encouragement, threeb.  I'm off for now until the new game comes up.
