Good heavens! Capri not accepted? I've ben buying capri-length pants--"capris" for years. Has no dictionary twigged yet?

                   It's been so many years since I strutted my stuff on the catwalk that I have no idea what you mean ! Capri-length? ankle? Calf? Knee? Mid-thigh? Modesty forbids me to continue.

It's a good word Mancks but not looking good....the word that is not you in them..i'm sure you look very glamorous in yours.

Here's another dictionary entry, this one actually for "capri", from the Canadian Oxford Dictionary.

women's close-fitting, tapered pants or leggings extending to just above the ankles (capri pants; capri tights).

So it would seem that "capri" does not appear only in the expression "capri pants", but can appear in "capri tights" and, as Mancklin points out, in "capri length". So "capri" qualifies as a Chi word.

I will look again in my wardrobe and see if i can find some...
My legs are so short that mine always looked full length....saved me taking them up!!
