Another CHI meeting
« on: September 26, 2010, 09:52:21 AM »
Hi all,
i just thought i would let you all know that today there was another meeting of Chi forumates.
Bobbi has been in the UK for a week or so, and today i went to London and met up with her, and her lovely daughters at Camdon Lock Market.
She is heading back to new Zealand tomorrow [Sunday].

It was amazing to meet her, and we got on like family...we did take photos, so i will try and get them on here as soon as i can.

So Alan...this site really does bring us forumates together, literally and literally.....thanks..

So who will it be next???

I thought you were about to burst into song there, T!  Me and Bobbi/y McGee - love that song!

Very lovely piccy of you and Bobbi but disappointed there was no Pete or Russell lurking in the background!!   I spent hours scouring Camden looking for one or the other of them!

Glad you and Bobbi got to meet up and am sure you got on lika a house on fire.  Lovely and thanks for sharing the piccy.

However, was not so keen on the other piccy you posted in another thread!!  Sort of feathered and beaked!  No time to expand on this further now but you know what I mean!  >:D

Hi all,

Back from a 3 month trip abroad. No, it wasn't a holiday, most of the time was taken up trying to sort out the shambles that my aged mother in South Africa describes as her house. Grimebusters staff would retch!  However, the final three weeks were spent visiting old friends and family in  the UK, culminating on our last day with meeting Technomc at Camden Lock markets.

We chatted and window shopped (and even bought a few odds and ends - T bought some very pretty cupcakes for her girls, something to toss into the shed,) as if we were old and very dear school friends catching up.

Back in New Zealand since Tuesday, and all is rapidly becoming a distant memory  :)
