minor problem
« on: August 02, 2009, 11:56:09 PM »
This is only a minor problem, but confusing when it happens.  The players tend to spontaneously reorder themselves.

This happens maybe once per day on the average.  We will enter a word, and the player list and histogram are no longer sorted by score.  See the two examples (attached), which contain screen clips with and without the problem.

It's easy enough to work around.  Hitting the refresh button to the right of the word "rare" sets everything back to normal.

Has anyone else seen this problem?

Hi, A! I think this is the same anomaly pat brought up about a month ago. See "Something odd on the scoreboard," https://theforum.lexigame.com/index.php/topic,1627.0.html.

I should add, I have experienced this myself when I am typing faster than the network can handle.

I looked for a conversation thread with this, but did not find it.

Oh, well.  Back to my jambalaya.
